It's Dune and over with

Some of us can get lost
or stranded in a desert of our own making,
fooling ourselves with the promise of
that next mirage or oasis that passes our mind's eyes by.
But the sands of time eventually shift and soon,
we get back on that ol' horse called self evolution,
setting out, and with a little bit of
courage and determination finding that most important
thing we lost in the expanse of dunes and mounds called life:
ourselves
